The Nith River
Only an hour west of Toronto, the Nith River mixes calm water with some nice elevation drops for more exciting rapids. The gravel bottom of the Nith River poses few rock hazards, making this a fun and safe river for the whole family. Rafting season only lasts about 6 weeks, starting in March, when river levels are higher after the winter snow melts.

The Grand River
The Grand River is just south of the The Nith, west of Toronto. While the spring melt or heavy rain can greatly increase river flows, the Grand River is generally an easy rafting river for beginner rafters.
